TreadStrong Solutions, LLC (“TreadStrong Solutions,” “we” or “us”) installs rubber and natural stone surfacing for outdoor and indoor spaces in Northern Indiana. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
We collect what you choose to send us through our two forms, the free estimate form and the contact form:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the ZIP code or city of the project and, if you give it, the street address;
- details of the project: the type of surface, the size, the service you are interested in, whether it is residential or commercial, your timeline and budget range, and anything you write in the notes box;
- how and when you would like us to contact you;
- any photographs or files you attach to the contact form; and
- a record of the boxes you ticked agreeing to be contacted.
Nothing on this site requires an account, and we do not sell anything online, so we do not collect payment details here.
Like every website, our hosting and security providers also record technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the type of browser and device, and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and block abuse.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a written quote.
- To carry out work you have asked us to do, and to keep records of it.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not use your details for automated decision-making or profiling.
Marketing
We use your details to deal with your inquiry and nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list, send newsletters, or pass your details to anyone to advertise to you. If that ever changes we will ask you first, and every message will tell you how to stop.
Phone calls and text messages
The estimate form has two separate tick boxes. The first agrees that we may contact you about your project by phone or email, which we need to answer you. The second, which is optional and not ticked for you, agrees that we may also send you text messages about your project, such as arranging a visit or confirming an appointment.
If you agree to texts, message frequency varies with your project, and message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw at any time by replying STOP or by telling us. Replying HELP or calling us will get you help. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the people who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:
- our website host and the network provider that delivers and protects the site;
- the email service that delivers your inquiry to us;
- where a job requires it, our product supplier and any subcontractors involved in your installation, for instance to support a warranty claim; and
- professional advisers such as our accountant.
Each acts on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our rights. If you choose to apply for financing, you deal with the lender directly and their own privacy policy applies to what you give them. Our pages link to other websites, such as our website developer’s; we are not responsible for how they handle information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies necessary for it to function. At the time of writing this site runs no analytics or advertising tools — there is no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no advertising pixel and no session-recording tool — and a first visit sets no tracking cookies. The only cookies used are the ones WordPress needs to run the site and to handle the estimate form. If we add an analytics or advertising tool later, this section will be updated to name it and to say how to opt out. Most browsers let you refuse cookies in their settings.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become a job are kept for up to 24 months, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, and are then deleted.
- Records of work we carried out, including your quote, contract, photographs and any warranty claim, are kept for seven years, which covers our five-year warranty and our accounting and tax obligations.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider are held for a short period for security and are then overwritten.
You can ask us to delete an inquiry sooner, as described below.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also withdraw your agreement to calls or texts at any time. Contact us using the details below. We will respond promptly and in any case within 45 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your state’s privacy law, and we will honor a valid request from you under those too. We will not treat you differently for making one.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and access to inquiry details is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date at the top.
